Rio De Janeiro/Sao Paulo/Ribeirao Preto, Brazil (2008) Partnered with Global Awakening and leaders from across the United States/Brazil in healing evangelism outreach, ministering in three cities. We served and ministered to over 14,000 children, youth, and adults experiencing abject poverty and varying degrees of suffering throughout the nation of Brazil. Over 2000 physical, emotional, behavioral and spiritual healings reported. Services included healing and revival outreach in large and small churches and parachurch ministries and provision of monetary and nonmonetary supports and ministry resources to several nongovernmental organizations that provide services to the most acutely suffering peoples of Brazil.
Cape Town, South Africa (2006) Partnered with Alaska Medical Missions, HCJB World Radio, Baphumelele House, Khayelitsha and Living Hope to serve impoverished individuals and communities, orphaned children and youth, and adults affected by HIV/AIDS. Organization and program evaluation consultation provided to executive management team. Participated in community development projects that serve individuals in need throughout South Africa and contributed raised funds. Worked with customs and immigration officials in the South African Government to import medical supplies and transported medical supplies (among other items) into the country for orphanages and community-based nongovernmental organizations.
Bacalar, Mexico (2003) Program development consultation provided for Turning Point Ministries to initiate community development projects serving youth in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Fostered community-based initiatives to secure housing versus incarceration for males aged 11 to 17, housing for pregnant unwed mothers and contributed raised funds for a school building in a Guatemalan refugee camp. Worked with immigration officials for the Mexican Government to streamline process of importing medical supplies and transported medical supplies into the country.
